Since Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I know most people make plans for the occasion, I wanted to offer three different perspectives on potential outfit combos.  These looks work whether for a first date, dinner with your longtime significant other, or even a girls’ night celebration.  Which one would you go for?  I guess it depends on the venue, and of course your personal preferences.  I have plans for dinner with my hubby, and will likely opt for something along the lines of the “fun & flirty” floral dress.  Though honestly, I LOVE all these looks!!

LOOK 1: CUTE & CASUAL

Everyone’s probably heard skinny jeans are out.  This season is all about a more relaxed fit, and I’m personally a fan of the slightly slouchy “slim” boyfriend jeans.  For a cute but casual V-Day look, pair yours with a sexy red tank and cropped black jacket.  Did I mention I’m in love with these strappy block-heel sandals from Dolce Vita’s spring Collection?!  They add some oomph to the look and coordinate nicely with the remaining accessories (sunglasses / necklace / bag / nail polish).

LOOK 2: FUN & FLIRTY

This look is equal parts girly and boho, for a fun and flirty outfit that’s sure to turn heads.  I adore this floral fit and flare dress from Express.  Spice it up with some black lace-up heels and a cherry red bag.  This outfit suits elegant boho-inspired accessories, like these statement earrings and this cuff bracelet.  Choose lipstick and nail polish in bold colors that finish off the look.

LOOK 3: FASHION FORWARD

If you’re feeling adventurous, consider a striped midi-skirt and floral crop top.  I love the idea of pairing this outfit with blush pink booties for a looks that’s more modern and fashion forward.  And couldn’t you just die over the adorable Lanvin “Love” clutch?  It might be pricey but it’s super cute!  (Cheaper version here.)  Finish this look with some fab accessories that give the right mix of edgy and chic (earrings / lipstick / scarf / bangles).
